Just to get some things out of the way first: No, I'm not American, neither do I possess a green card yet; I'm currently doing my clinicals in the US; I do not drive; I'm from a Caribbean Medical School.
Essentially, I'm a non-traditional medical student here, rotating through different hospitals for different rotations.
I'm going to try to keep this blog as limited to medicine as possible, a journal of my way through the path I've chosen. Somehow, I've always ended up taking the offbeat path, the one that most other (saner) people avoid, and I've learnt a lot in the process of getting to where I am today.
Its mostly been a crazy journey, living day-to-day, in the moment - because I don't know where next week will take me.
If I can bring a smile to someone reading me, I'm glad. If I can make someone laugh, thats great. If I find a friend to share this journey with (cribbing, highs, lows and all), that would be a complete bonus... One I'll keep my eyes peeled for.
Please leave me a line to let me know what you think... I'm open to suggestions, most of the times anyways. I'd love to know what you think.
